True Faith

Richie DJโ€™d across the planet, flying the flag for his proud Melbourne town from 1990 โ€˜til the mid 2000s, all the while establishing record stores, music distribution businesses, record labels and infamous club nights. He also ran Australia's most influential independent dance distributor, Mushroomโ€™s DanceNet, from 1992-95 during the global explosion golden era of dance music.

The Hardware impression on Australia is undeniable and this 30-year book tells the story through Richieโ€™s eyes across more than 400 pages of stories, photos, posters and memorabilia.

Richie is a very organized individual. He wrote a book and archived over 10,000 photos from the past 30 years, which is quite an achievement. The book itself is designed in a way that presents a natural timeline, with the photos and scanned flyers aging together, and the addition of original 1990's Melway's pages giving it a nice touch. It's a well-executed concept, and credit goes to Chris for tracking down one of those old maps.
